About us

More than 20 years of service.

Following a multidisciplinary effort and taking advantage of the growth of the pine pulp industry in South America, Härting Aromas S.A. was founded in late 1993 as a company dedicated to the creation, production and export of terpene aroma chemicals.

The new company built a turpentine fractionation plant and a plant for the production of aroma chemicals in Arauco, an area in southern Chile with regional connectivity and access to ports for shipping its products.

This marked the beginning of an innovative project to enter the field of terpene chemistry.

In the design and construction of its plant, as well as in the organisation of its management, the company built a highly qualified team of engineers, chemists, operators and administrative staff. This team has worked successfully at the company for many years and is the foundation on which its future is built.

Twenty-five years later, having established itself as one of the region's leading suppliers to the global flavour and fragrance market, the directors chose to give the company a new direction: alongside a modernised corporate identity, a new corporate name was adopted — Andina Ingredients S.A., replacing the former one. The name reflects both its Andean location and the nature of its products.

Through strategic partnerships with its raw material suppliers and a history of continuous improvement, Andina Ingredients S.A. is today a leading company in South America, whose technology and skilled workforce allow it to properly meet the requirements of its international customers.
