Operations begin with the basic raw material: turpentine. It is fractionated at the Andina Ingredients S.A. plant in Arauco, Biobío Region, Chile, separating its main components: alpha and beta pinene.
These products are exported worldwide through nearby ports, where industrial customers use them to manufacture a wide range of products. Alpha pinene is used to produce various grades of pine oil, dipentene, alpha-terpineol and campholenic aldehyde, among others. Beta pinene, in turn, is first converted into myrcene.
One of the core objectives of Andina Ingredients S.A. is to meet customer needs with high quality products. Communicating our deep commitment to quality and continuous improvement, and engaging every member of our team in it, is fundamental to us.
